The University
of Tasmania Rugby Union Club has been in existence since 1933
and has enjoyed a rich history, being home to many premiership
winning sides throughout the years.
The club is located at the University of Tasmania Hobart campus,
in beautiful Sandy Bay.
For over 76 years the Utas Rugby club has offered a friendly
family atmosphere for all its members who come from home and
abroad, and always welcomes new members.

is actively looking for new members to join the club, be
it social members or players. Why not come down to the ground
on Thursday nights at 6pm for a friendly game of touch and

Mission
Statement:
We, the Tasmanian Rugby Union Football Club, endeavour to
provide, support, and develop exciting as well as entertaining
rugby union. Through advocating rugby within the University
and local community we will continue sharing the camaraderie
of rugby with all, whilst still maintaining our sense of identity
as the Tasmanian University Rugby Union Club.
