The
University of Tasmania Rugby Union Club has been in
existence since 1933 and has enjoyed a rich history,
being home to many premiership winning sides throughout
the years.
The club is located at the University of Tasmania Hobart
campus, in beautiful Sandy Bay.
For over 76 years the Utas Rugby club has offered a
friendly family atmosphere for all its members who come
from home and abroad, and always welcomes new members.

Season 2010 is upon us and we are now actively looking for
members and players to become a part of the redmen family.
2010 hopes to be an exciting year for the redmen with the
executive committee looking to work harder on fostering
the family feel that the University Rugby Club has become
known for, with more events than previous years and a new
coaching staff. We look forward to welcoming you into our

Mission Statement:
We, the Tasmanian Rugby Union Football Club, endeavour to
provide, support, and develop exciting as well as entertaining
rugby union. Through advocating rugby within the University
and local community we will continue sharing the camaraderie
of rugby with all, whilst still maintaining our sense of identity
as the Tasmanian University Rugby Union Club.
